Joan Nichols, living in Ankeny, formerly serving in Latin America  After spending four days in the hospital as a result of bronchitis, Joan returned home with a lot of pain. Her back compression apparently got stirred up so that she has to be on pain meds. Pray for God’s healing hand. Joan would love to attend a grandson’s wedding in MI on April 9th.

                Ron and Kathleen Weber — starting a “retiring” short-term missions ministry, after starting 11 strong Churches with ABWE in Brazil  – Ron’s book of the Weber’s many missionary experiences is now at the publishers! Pray they will be able to locate a house near to their grandchildren that can be their home when not traveling for ministry.

                Ed and Cheryl Bunt, CBM Church Planters, Danville, IA They see a year of opportunity ahead. Bible studies are underway. The Bunts are having folks in for meals so that they can become better acquainted. They are approaching businesses and offices around town. A planning committee is working on projects and improvements of the church building.

                Lucas and Kimberly Warner, serving in Romania with Baptist Mid-Missions  www.facebook.com/WarnersinRomainia  So far, the furlough experience with children is going pretty well. The Warners will visit 4 new Churches. They need $500. a month additional support. Pray for health and safety as they finish an 8-week trip away from where they are head-quartered during their time in the states. Pray for Dave and Ruth Kimmel as they lead the Church there. (Also pray for NickiCarr – so close to being a co-worker in Romania.)

Nicole Carr, on deputation to work with the Warners and their Church-Plant Team – Support and passage money needed. A bit over $100. monthly support to go. Nicole plans to leave for Romania at the end of March. Her commissioning service will be at her home Church in Creston on February 28th.

Henry John family with Baptist Mid-Missions serving in their native India Henry returned safely from yet another teaching trip to India. Pray that the seminary will become reality and pastors there can continuously get the training they so desire.

Pat and Bonnie Ryal medical missionaries to Nicaragua with ABWE –  It was a difficult decision, but after returning to the field, Dr. Ryal found that his current health condition keeps him from continuing the clinics as he had hoped to do. They have returned to the states and will be reporting to supporting Churches and seeing God’s plan for their future ministry.

George and Dottie Hatfield, Campus Ministries at ISU in Ames Visit: http://ghatfield.ebm.org Join us in praying God will bring John and Marissa Sharbaugh to Ames before August 1, 2016. (George writes: THEY ARE GREATLY NEEDED HERE!) Most of the married couples that have been part of the classes and studies have gone to their homelands. Pray for their testimony at home. Pray new couples on campus will be joining in the ministry outreach activities.

Yet, there is great rejoicing by the team that no more work was lost. Steady progress is being made. Pray for Anna Beth as she prepares to leave on a 9 month furlough in March. Pray for the Chadian Church as the doctrinal errors continue to be addressed.

Pat and Wendy Campbell, Baptist Mid-Missions, Missionaries to Peru February 25th is their day of departure. They will host four missionary teams as well as maintain a full teaching schedule. Pray for the 2015 graduates as they minister in local Churches, seeking God’s will for their lives.

Wesley and Sonia Chatla – International Gospel Missions, National Pastor to India Answered prayer: Several Churches responded to the needs of the believers whose homes and water buffalo were destroyed by the fire. Continue to pray for their recovery from the devastation the fire brought about.

David and Patti West, Gospel Mission of S.A., anticipating “training nationals in Argentina and ChileThey returned safely from their survey trip to the area and to meet co-workers. Pray they will be able to join in the ministry there will soon – that support will come quickly.

Joy Akkermann with Baptist Mid-Missions headed to the jungles of Peru Joy spoke at a ladies’ meeting when visiting her sister in Argentina at Christmas. She then directed VBS for Pastor’s Family Camp, visited a Kids Club where she is now teaching, and attended BMM Missionaries’ Camp in Lima. Pray for the teens in the Girl’s class she is now teaching on Sundays.

The Campbell family with ABWE headed to Cumbaya, Equador (www.campbellfamily-ecuador.com) A grandma passed away, so this month’s report was written by the oldest daughter. She asks for prayer for her mother’s father who has cancer. He has accepted the Lord as His Savior. She feels the Lord’s call to be a dental hygienist and to hopefully use her skills on future mission trips. Pray for her ACT’s score to be such that she can move directly to training. (She is now “shadowing a professional” in preparation for her training.)

Mark, Anahi, and Sophia Self, serving in Argentina Such wonderful news! The week of work went wonderfully. It was supposed to rain six times and only rained 1 day for 1 hour. When the team left, there was a major thunderstorm. They were able to get the subfloor laid, built many walls, and did a lot of electrical /plumbing work. 80 people working so hard for free made an impact on the community. Pray for Ruben and Magui whose husband, Mario, needs the Lord. One of the work team men wrote of his experience. Read his INTERESTING take on the experience on the hall missions’ board!

Rick and Elaine Fessel assisting the German Missionaries in Eichstatt, Germany (BMM) Things have started off well with the meeting place in Eichstatt. No complaints have come from neighbors. Since there appear to be no other options, pray that until a long-term meeting place can be found that this location works out. Pray for the Fessel’s visas. Nothing is sure until they have them in hand. Pray for this young Church and its German pastor and the Fessels as they add their experience to getting this new Church established.

Ben and Katie Wooster, CBM Builders – They are at 76% support and are asking the Lord to provide the rest of their support need before they head out on the next project. They are presenting their ministry at IA Churches this month.

The Snells to Germany with Baptist Mid-Missions They have had lots of travels on deputation this winter, but they praise the Lord for safety. Support is at 46% which puts them on target to leave a year from this spring for Germany.

 

LET’S PRAY, GIVE, AND GO TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS! IF WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL IN OUR TASK, THE JOB WILL GET DONE! Pray for FBBC and Seminary students; Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep.; the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com ; Shepherd’s Home (Save all the barcode labels from Campbells foods – place in the envelope on the mailboxes!); Alpha Women’s Center; our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org ; IARBC statewide ministries; Baptist Children’s Home Ministries; and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh.  Pray for the Jews. Pray for Israel. Pray for our Ladies Bible Study! Pray that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods! Pray that the Lord will speak to the hearts of boys and girls who attend Patch, PeeWees, and Compass Clubs and that they and their parents will attend Sunday School and Church. Pray for the workers and the Club Members!

Pray for the area Youth Rally at Brayton just ahead in March. Pray for spiritual blessings as a result of all the work that goes into this endeavor.
