Our retired missionaries
Virgil and Dolores Bunjer, retired missionaries from Germany, living in Ankeny, IA, helping minister to senior missionaries for Baptist Mid-Missions, keeping us updated on Germany Praise the Lord that Lomax and Linda Skinner can return to Germany. His healing from surgery can be monitored there! Praise the Lord: the Fessels have found an apartment. Thank the Lord that the Boyds were spared injury in a car accident. Dolores gets good reports from the retinologist.
                Louis  Miller, retired builder, living at Manning
                Allen and Marilyn Adler, Native American ministry, Townsend, MT              Allen had his eye surgery and has had to have some follow-up with that. Marilyn is gaining since she has been able to get more nourishment. They continue to serve the Lord in the opportunities at the local nursing home. Allen’s prison ministry also continues. It was a successful hunting season! Pray for some who have quit attending Church services.
Joan Nichols, living in Ankeny, formerly serving in Latin America  She continues to have her lymphoma in remission. The back pain has eased, and she is taking part in a water aerobics group. Her Bible Club ministries continue, and her home project this winter is putting family photos/memories in good order.
                Wyzetta Titus, widow of Gerald Titus serving the homebound in her area of VA   Her heart rate is back to normal range. Pray she will continue to have the strength needed to minister in 8 assisted living facilities and to several homebound folks. Pray she can lead some to Christ in 2016.

                Norman and Susan Smith family serving in Japan, seeking to build bridges to individuals and establish Churches–  www.smithlife.net    1160-13 Kyokushi-fumoto, Kikuchi, Kumamoto-ken 869-1202 JAPAN  There is a lot to accomplish since their return to Japan. Christian fellowship has been a big focus lately as there are so few Japanese Christians. Pray that Amanda Gray can soon have her support so that she can be of help to the Smiths for a year. Pray for Norman as he disciples men. Another Baptist church is visiting the gallery to see this method of beginning a church plant. Much prayer needed for these busy missionaries.
                Darrel and Lori Jingst, EBI (Spanish Literature Publication) in Sebring, FLBusy at the print shop. Stephanie has told them that they will become grandparents in the coming year!
                Mike and Peggy Carr, Missionary Builders with CBM – They will be at CBM headquarters for the winter. Pray that the project in WI will soon have the green light, and that money needed to proceed will come in. They are at 84% support level.
                Dan and Peggy Whitcher, Church Planting and Development Cordinator, Baptist Mid-Missions. Four new Church planting missionaries are needed. Two missionary couples are needed for Muslim outreach in Detroit. Pray for the Lord to send out laborers! The Whitchers find themselves very busy at the Katy Church and with the Church Planting Coordination for Baptist Mid-Missions in North America. Our Country has become a mission field!
Brad and Marie Hansen and family, Baptist Church Planters, Bussey, IA The little Church in Bussey often has visitors. Pray that some of these will help the faithful to grow in their ministry. Construction has slowed, so Brad is working Monday through Wednesday at the Monroe Co. Hosp.
                Dennis and Peggy Robinson, CBM, Missionary Builders  
                Ron and Kathleen Weber —  starting a “retiring” short-term missions ministry, after starting 11 strong Churches with ABWE in Brazil  They are looking for a house located close to their daughters. Pray that there will be a job for James there also. They can rent their house in Brazil to a Christian school, but it would be more beneficial to sell it. Pray for the Church in Mossoro. It needs a pastor.
                Ed and Cheryl Bunt, CBM Church Planters, Danville, IA They send a good report: a Sunday School class started for upper grades, a ladies’ Bible Study has begun, and Ed has a class Sunday mornings for adults: Experiencing God. He has volunteered as chaplain at the local fire dept. Praise the Lord that new folk are attending.

                Nicole Carr, on deputation to work with the Warners and their Church-Plant Team – Her support is at 83% now. She is focusing on studying Romanian, working on her CEUs to keep her nursing license, and getting things prepared for leaving for Romania. Pray for her co-workers there and that funds are forthcoming so that she can soon be helping in the ministry to the Romas.
                The Barry Farlow family, in Brazil, serving with Baptist Mid-Missions  Graduation of the seminary students has taken place. Pray for their service as they head out. Pray that they will be faithful and follow God’s direction as to where he wants them to serve. More missionaries are needed on this field. Pray with the Farlows that they will soon have the needed help for all the tasks at hand!

Henry John family with Baptist Mid-Missions serving in their native India There are 14 students from North India and 5 students from South India being taught at the seminary modules. Next trip is Jan. 4. Pray for teachers at each module that Henry/teachers from here travel to India to present.$7500. is needed for each module (classes and trip). Pray a building can be purchased for the seminary. Money is also needed for scooters so the Church planters can get about. If you have old Christian books in your library, they can be donated to the seminary there in India. Pray for Molly to get the needed kidney.
Pat and Bonnie Ryal medical missionaries to Nicaragua with ABWE – They flew to Nicaragua on the 9th of December. Clinic activities are to resume the first of next month. Pray for the Dr. and his wife as they are back on the field and serving!
George and Dottie Hatfield, Campus Ministries at ISU in Ames Visit: http://ghatfield.ebm.org John and Marissa Sharbaugh and their 2 children joined the Hatfields as the Winter Retreat was held. Rhonda Green, RN, Micronesian Medical Missions, Baptist Mid-Missions, Guam, on furlough  She was able to spend Thanksgiving with family.
Ben and Katie Wooster, on deputation as CBM missionary builders – Pray that God will make it clear where their next project should be, and pray that the rest of their support comes in before they leave Manning to build again.
Anna Beth Wivell with Baptist Mid-Missions, translator, now in Chad in Africa  View her blog: www.annabethwiv.com  The Mali trip went well after initial difficulties. Pray for the printing of the New Testament that can now take place. Some translated portion of the Deme O.T. are missing from the office computers (Computer virus?), and vermin destroyed the hard copies. Pray for a miracle, or that the translators and committee will find the grace to do the work over! (50 chapters is a lot of translating!) Some false doctrine and unbiblical practices are seeping into the Chadian Baptist Churches. Pray for this situation.
The Mapes with Baptist Mid-Missions – hoping to return to Ghana missionary service next year. Pray for them as they make a visit to Ghana this winter.

Pat and Wendy Campbell, Baptist Mid-Missions, Missionaries to Peru Pray for the students on the work-study scholarship. They are building on the SEBIC campus to get the $500. a year it takes to attend school. The Campbells will be presenting the need of the ministry to Churches here in January and February and then returning to Peru.

The Phillips Family, Team Church Planters in Chicagoland with Baptist Church Planters. Visit www.phillips5.net  They are continuing to have Bible Studies and have folks over.  The lease on the church facility is up this spring. Pray for wisdom and clear direction from the Lord about other options, if the landlord will not negotiate a better contract.
Mark and Leslie Boyd and family, Missionaries to Germany The first outreach event at this Christmas time did not see any Neumarkt people in attendance. The second time seven guests came. Pray that they will be open to the Gospel and introduce their friends in the city so that this Church plant can become a reality!

The Tylavskys – Church Planters with CBM, on their way to the Washington D.C. area They rejoice that they have some new individual supporters. Pray for scheduling of meetings this coming year. Their goal is to be working with their co-workers by the summer of 2017. Pray that their needs will be provided so that this is possible.

The Snells to Germany with Baptist Mid-Missions hope to reach 50% support by the end of January. Pray that they will be able to get to Germany by the summer of 2017. They will be helping in the Neumarkt Church just now getting underway.

. Pray for our Ladies Bible Study! Pray that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods! Pray that the Lord will speak to the hearts of boys and girls who attend Patch, PeeWees, and Compass Clubs and that they and their parents will attend Sunday School and Church. Pray for the workers and the Club Members!
