Our retired missionaries
                Virgil and Dolores Bunjer, retired missionaries from Germany and living in Ankeny, IA, helping minister to senior missionaries for Baptist Mid-Missions, and keeping us updated on the German Churches.  Missionary Skinner will have a 6-week recovery from his surgery. The Skinners do hope to return to Germany. Brother Bunjer’s sister is to undergo knee replacement in mid-October. The Bunjers will be her helpers until then.

                Allen and Marilyn Adler, Native American ministry, Townsend, MT They both continue to minister. Marilyn is gaining weight although she is still swallowing only a trickle. Continue to pray for her doctors to have wisdom. Allen has had some blurriness in his right eye. Now that his cataract surgery is over, he will have surgery on the retina to correct blurriness and waviness that he has had since Oct. 2010. Pray for their tract ministry.

They need to sell their homes in Peru and report to their supporting Churches before making the transition. Pray for the Sunday School flip chart project to get needed funds.

                Ed and Cheryl Bunt, CBM Church Planters, Danville, IA They are very busy at Chatsworth, IL. CBM builders and volunteers have helped on the church roof project. Sunday School with few kids and a large age range is working out. Bible studies are being started with the men and the women. Pray as the Bunts establish friendships in the area, that folks can be reached for the Lord.

                Steve and Kelley Frerichs, Church Planters in Lima, Peru A new family is attending their Church. The Church they were attending is too distant, so they will be a great help in the Frerichs’ Church. It took more money to get set up back on the field than expected. God blessed. A family took them out to eat when the cupboards were bare. Their benefactors were unaware of the need. Pray Gustavo and his family will be saved.

A little over $1000. a month is needed for her to leave to the field. Pray that she can be there by 2015.
                The Barry Farlow family, in Brazil, serving with Baptist Mid-Missions The family is back together again. Thanks for prayers! Pray that Ellen’s mom continues to progress!
                The James Taylors (www.taylors4brazil.blogspot.com ) in Brazil  A training class for those desiring to go into full time ministry is underway. Pray for James as he disciples them. A family coming to Church would love to have a Church started in their hometown. Pray God will give wisdom in this possible Church plant. Pray for unity as the Church is simplifying the original Church project in Florianopolis.
The Boyds, missionaries to Colombia with ABWE, recently back from furlough Visit: www.BoydHome.com The Church papers were legally rejected a second time. Pray the Church can be recognized by the Government. Rodolfo and Damaris have accepted the Lord. Praise God for answered prayer. Continue to pray for the Boyd’s co-workers. Several situations in their family could discourage them, but as yet they continue on!

Pat and Bonnie Ryal medical missionaries to Nicaragua with ABWE –  Pat has more testing in Oct. So far, his reports have been most encouraging! Pray they can be in Nicaragua for Christmas.
George and Dottie Hatfield, Campus Ministries at ISU in Ames Visit: http://ghatfield.ebm.org Their daughter’s husband continues to regain his health! Group discussion classes are off to a great start. Most of the new student contacts are coming.

Ben and Katie Wooster, on deputation as CBM missionary builders – They have been a real help at the Bunt’s Church in Chatsworth, IL. They now move on to Tomah, WI to finish up the deputation meetings scheduled there. They rejoice at being at a 68% support level!

The Phillips Family, Team Church Planters in Chicagoland with Baptist Church Planters. Visit www.phillips5.net  They are thrilled that “Jerry,” a regular visitor to the Church, accepted Christ as Savior. Outreach activities to the folks in their area continue. 100 more families have been added to their data base as a result of the local National Night Out festivities their township sponsored. Pray for the children as they head back to school
Mark and Leslie Boyd and family, Missionaries to Germany The new house is working out wonderfully. The neighborhood is very friendly. Pray for the Boyd children in their new school. The dialect in Neumarkt is strong, so there is a bit of a language barrier. The family is to grow to 6 children in January. Pray for Leslie and baby – doing well at this point.
John and Bev  Leonard, Baptist Mid-Missions, in Brazil Check out: www.prayforjohn.com They return to Brazil Oct. 21st. Three churches have yet to be reported to. Please pray for safe travels for the Leonards.
David and Patti West, Gospel Mission of S.A., anticipating “training nationals in Argentina and Chile Pray for an awakening in Argentina! Pray for revival in the Churches there. The Chivilcoy Camp is being developed. Pray that all goes exactly as it should, bor the Seminary will be headquartered there. This is such an important project. Pray for the field director and camp director as they head it all up.
The Tylavskys – Church Planters with CBM, on their way to the Washington D.C. area God continues to affirm the call of the Tylavsky family to the Washington D.C. area, and although they remain under 20% financial support, they continue to be very positive. Pray the Lord will encourage them as they schedule meetings to share their burden!
Joy Akkermann with Baptist Mid-Missions headed to the jungles of Peru Her trip to Peru had a few problems, but she marveled to see how the Lord worked it all out. She has done her paperwork and taken her oral exam, and she is now helping her sister and family, missionaries in Argentina, until she can plug into the Peru work.
The Campbell family with ABWE headed to Cumbaya, Equador (www.campbellfamily-ecuador.com) Pray for the family as they learn the Spanish language together. Praise the Lord that Shane was able to baptize his dad and brother this summer! Chuck DeCleene is a big help to the family as they prepare to go to the field!

Pray for FBBC and Seminary students, Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep., the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com , Shepherd’s Home, Alpha Women’s Center, our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org , IARBC statewide ministries, Baptist Children’s Home Ministries, and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh.  Pray for the Jews. Pray for Israel. Pray for our Ladies Bible Study! Pray that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods! Pray that the Lord will speak to the hearts of boys and girls who attend Patch,PeeWee, and Compass Clubs. Pray for the workers and the Club Members!
