                Virgil and Dolores Bunjer, retired missionaries from Germany and living in Ankeny, IA, helping minister to senior missionaries for Baptist Mid-Missions.  Keep on praying. The landlady in Eichstaett that changed her mind about renting to the church planting team may be changing her mind again and be about to allow the group to having meetings in her building. Thank God for Ed Walden’s successful pacemaker surgery. He maintains Missionary Acres where some of Baptist Mid-Missions retirees live.

                Allen and Marilyn Adler, Native American ministry, Townsend, MT Pray for the Adler’s health issues. After Allen’s rotator cuff surgery he learned that his bi-cep was shredded and that it had been repaired also. He is having physical therapy and is very limited in what he can do. Marilyn is still having issues with eating. They must travel to Seattle for a second opinion March 24th and 25th to visit a specialist. Pray for the ministries they are still able to do and that their health difficulties can be overcome.

Missionaries We Support Financially and with Prayer 

                Norman and Susan Smith family serving in Japan, seeking to build bridges to individuals and establish Churches–  www.smithlife.net    1160-13 Kyokushi-fumoto, Kikuchi, Kumamoto-ken 869-1202 JAPAN  Events are now underway in the rented building! The Smiths are officially teaching English now. Working with Japanese children brings opportunities for relationships with families. Only one young person has signed up for GRIT? (Maybe God wants the Smiths to have a year’s break.) Pray for God’s will in this program. Normanmeets with 7 to 9 men weekly for personal discipleship. He needs much prayer for his endurance to hold as he is involved in so many other ministry duties also. (The McVickers have 1 ½ years of school yet and are applying to ABWE. New workers are needed. Pray everyone in the Smith family can keep going in the work that is to be done to spread the Gospel.)

While completing their Baptist Mid-Missions assignment, they hope to assist in the ministry of a bilingual local Church in Katy, TX (Houston area).Their Kansas City house if up for sale. Pray for their travels as they report to supporting Churches. Pray for the class Peggy is now teaching Thursdays in their home Church in Kansas City.

                Ed and Cheryl Bunt, CBM Church Planters, Danville, IA It is time for them to move on ALREADY! The Church has a constitution, has a membership roll, and has called a pastor (He has served as assistant pastor for most of the last year!). GARBC has accepted the Church into its association, and the Bunts will be moving on. They listed their house and in 10 days they had an offer they accepted. They will move to Chatsworth, IL and help to develop the Church there once again. It is the only conservative, independent Baptist Churchanywhere within a 20-mile radius.

Missionaries We Support With Prayer

                Lars and Phyllis Wessberg – Missionary Evangelism with C.O.M.E. Lars has been preaching in several central FL Churches this winter. They have joined a home church in Orlando and are thankful to have a Church to call their own when they are “home.” This summer will find them serving in IA. From March 22 through June 26th they will be ministering at Calvary Baptist Church in West Des Moines. Extended pulpit supply is quite different from what the Wessbergs have been accustomed to doing in ministry. Pray for them to be usedmightly as they serve in this capacity.

The Boyds, missionaries to Colombia with ABWE, recently back from furlough Visit: www.BoydHome.com  They celebrated the 4th anniversary of Impacto Biblico the Church Plant in Santa Marta, and they are encouraged by the spiritual growth in some in the congregation and are saddened by the lives of others. They have to remind themselves that ‘everything takes longer here.’ The Church hopes next to reach out to young people and university students.  

Henry John family with Baptist Mid-Missions serving in their native IndiaKeep praying for healing for Molly and a matching donor for her kidney transplant. Three friends and Henry will be traveling to India March 31 through April 28. Pray that visas for the visitors and funds to finance the trip will be forthcoming. Pray for the need of an established seminary in North India and for a native Church planter as he heads out to start a work in a new area of India this spring.

Pat and Bonnie Ryal medical missionaries to Nicaragua with ABWE — Chemos are over. Surgery is done. The cold MN weather has been endured. Pray for a final medical OK so that the Ryals can return to Nicaragua in June! Pray language ability returns.

George and Dottie Hatfield, Campus Ministries at ISU in Ames Visit: http://ghatfield.ebm.org Back in Ames from visiting their daughter and son-in-law, they report he has a good prognosis for recovery from his seminoma. Ask God to heal this young man just beginning his career as a professor in electrical engineering. The work with individuals at ISU continues. Pray for salvation and growth as the Hatfields and student leaders remain faithful in service.

Visit www.phillips5.net  They ask for our prayers that Jerome will accept Christ as Savior, that Mark will be able to encourage William, a disabled Vet, and that coaching the city league basketball team and mentoring in the elementary school leads to opportunities to share the Gospel.

Mark and Leslie Boyd and family, Missionaries to Germany They are separated as a family with Mark briefly here in the U.S. reporting to Churches. The Nuremberg Church is doing well in the finished building. Pray for the Boyd family to soon know the exact church planting site that God would have them next locate in.

John and Bev Leonard, Baptist Mid-Missions, in Brazil Check out: www.prayforjohn.com God has blessed their ministry. They have helped in the construction of two Church buildings. Pray for the members of both Churches. Recently, they have been reaching out to the Guarani Indians. Pray that this needy tribe will be reached for Christ. The Leonards are presently in the USA. They will be here until August. There will be medical check ups, a bit of family time, and visits to various Churches.

David and Patti West, Gospel Mission of S.A., anticipating “training nationals in Argentina and Chile. They continue to hold meetings in MN and IA. Pray for them as they seek to schedule meetings in upcoming months. Pray for the many miles of travel. So far in 100,000 miles of deputation travel, they have had only two breakdowns. They haven’t missed a meeting or ended up in the ditch! Praise God, and keep on praying for the Wests!

The Campbell family with ABWE headed to Cumbaya, Equador (www.campbellfamily-ecuador.com) There has been a 5% increase in their support. Continue to pray that they reach 50% support level by June 29th. This must happen if they are to attend the once-a-year mandatory course at ABWE this summer! Also, ABWE is praying for 70 new career missionaries to carry the Gospel to the nations. Let’s join them in that prayer.

Pray for the soon-to-come camp ministry at Clear Lake, and that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods! Pray for Patch Club and Compass! Thank God for a very well-attended Brayton Challenge and for a continued impact on the lives of the young people who came!
