Missions’ Prayer Sheet for August 2014
Take Time Today to Pray!
Prayer is Your Missionaries Greatest Need! August, 2014
Our retired missionaries
Virgil and Dolores Bunjer, retired missionaries from Germany and living in Ankeny, IA, helping minister to senior missionaries for Baptist Mid-Missions. Two eager couples have passed the tests and are appointees of Baptist Mid-Missions to Germany. An answer to prayer: Willi, church planter in Eichstaett, has had a job miraculously provided so that he no longer must commute daily – giving him more time to focus on ministry. Good news also from Transnistria (western border of Ukraine): a wonderful week of camp was enjoyed by 200 children. (Many had to be turned away.) Almost all these campers have accepted Christ as Savior. On a personal note, the selling of the Bunjer’s Ottumwa house is finally progressing!
Louis Miller, retired builder, living at Manning needs our prayers and encouragement. To contact him: c/o The Manning Plaza, 410 Main St.Manning, IA51455, or e-mail plazaresident@mrhcia.com , and put in the subject line: Louis Miller.

Pray for one of the younger missionary families that the Whitchers have contact with. They are facing a life-changing health crisis at this time.

Ron and Kathleen Weber — reporting to their Churches and then starting a “retiring” short-term missions ministry, after starting 11 strong Churches with ABWE in Brazil — The Webers finished 5 camps. Fifteen made salvation decisions; twenty dedicated their lives to serve the Lord as He leads them, and twelve decisions to missionary service were made. Ron’s recovering arm got damaged in the pool with the Junior boys. Their going to Brazil for a niece’s wedding and the All-Brazil conference now depend on what Ron learns from his Dr. when he gets back to NJ. The Webers are scheduled to be back home August 22! James had his second phase visit to Shepherd’s! Continue to pray about his becoming a permanent resident there.
Ed and Cheryl Bunt, CBMChurch Planters, Danville, IAPlans are made to be changed by the Heavenly Father. Ed’s dad went to be with the Lord, so a camp speaking opportunity did not come about. A charter member of the DanvilleChurch passed away unexpectedly. That changed the Bunt’s plans. VBS and CBM Family Conference ended up falling on the same week. Other Churches and individuals were of great help as the Bunts headed to Ankeny and a time of renewal. Sept. 20-21 the Bunts at scheduled to be a part of a mission’s conference in MI.
