Virgil and Dolores Bunjer, retired from Germany and living in Ankeny, IA, helping minister to Senior missionaries for Baptist Mid-Missions. Willi and Heidi are back in Germany, ready to minister. They have located possible housing. There would be a small yard for entertaining and for the girls to play in. Pray that Willi can find a job in Eichstaett. This would save the 30 minute drive to Ingolstadt each day! Dolores has a bubble on her retina and had to see the eye specialist. Pray for this concern.

Allen and Marilyn Adler, Native American ministry, Townsend, MT Pray for their Canadian ministry. Allen reports that they are in good health. Church attendance has been low. A native man has asked for help. Pray for Allen as he shares God’s Word with him. They appreciate our monthly support and prayers!

Bonnie Abbas, actively “retired” in Chile, S. A. Praise the Lord that a money exchange problem has been resolved. The QuilpueChurch has a new pastor and wife. There is a new vitality for which Bonnie praises the Lord. She recently started helping a sister Church about 20 min. away. They are a loving group of folks to work with. She continues to use her talents on the mission field!

Norman and Susan Smith family now back in Japan, seeking to build bridges to individuals and establish Churches– www.smithlife.net They have moved to: 1160-13 Kyokushi-fumoto, Kikuchi, Kumamoto-ken 869-1202 JAPAN They recently made new friends as they cleared the back yard of trees that were a hazard or in the way of activity. GRIT begins May 19th. Six young people from across the US are coming to see the spiritual needs of Japan. Pray for Blake and Nathan and two others that Norman is meeting with regarding spiritual growth. Susan has been involved in English conversation time and is developing relationships with her students. Pray for Chloe. Is it possible she is already Junior High age? All the neighbors have pre-school age kids. She needs a friend!

Mike and Peggy Carr, Missionary Builders with CBM, now at the Cantonment, FL project. The trailer repairs were very successful. Mike is busy in the planning stages for the project: meeting with officials, architect, engineer, etc. as well as with the Church committees. Praise God that three individuals trusted the Lord as Savior the weekend of the groundbreaking! Pray for the builders coming from CO to FL as work begins. May 3rd is the memorial service for Peggy’s dad. The Carrs have scheduled meetings as they travel to NY for this event.

They ask us to pray that God will send more laborers into His harvest. Pray for the young church at Thousand Oaks, CA. The Whitchers are consulting with the interim supply missionary couple there and meeting with the Church there to work out plans for the way ahead. Also, be in prayer for the church plant in South Bronx, NY. The Church planters there have been called away for family needs. Veteran missionaries are stepping up to help the congregation move forward at this time.

Stephen and Cathy King, serving in the printing ministry as they anticipate going to ScotlandThe latest report that Stephen got from the cancer center was encouraging. At the present he is being told the problem in his lungs was pneumonia, not another battle ahead with cancer. He is praising the Lord and continuing to work as much as possible. Pray the IT individual and WEB Curator, individuals presently needed by the printing ministry can soon be found. Continue to pray for Jamaica and the small team going next month with Cathy to teach, train, and disciple ladies there.

The Barry Farlow family, in Brazil, serving with Baptist Mid-Missions See: www.thefarlows.com Their lives have settled into a regular schedule again, and that is a good thing. They are attending and serving in the same Church. Pray that it will regrow and be able to support a Brazilian pastor again. Pr. Jefferson gave a report recently of his ministry in India. He is trying to renew his visa to return to that work. He has to go as a tentmaker. Pray that the Lord will open the way. Barry is teaching 4 courses at the Bible college. Pray for the master’s level modules going on this month. Experimental teaching on line is beginning to save long distance traveling for some students. The children are back at their studies. Music is being added for David and Paul. Mark’s diabetes is being controlled better now with the stricter family routine.

Henry John family with Baptist Mid-Missions serving in their native India – Molly has 4 persons willing to donate a kidney. Pray for the two volunteers from here in IA as they undergo tests. Henry is in India until the middle of next month – teaching modules to Pastors there.
Pat and Bonnie Ryal medical missionaries to Nicaragua with ABWE A 68 yr. old lady from Cuba accepted the Lord as a result of the Clinic. She lived in Cuba for 53 yrs. and never heard the Gospel. God’s ways are wonderful. Pray for all who made decisions at the Cllinic. Dr. Ryal’s mom was told she had a bad cancer, but when surgery was done, there was NO CANCER. Pray for her healing and rehab. Earthquakes have rattled the Nicaragua area where the ministry center is located. Thank God the damage has been minimal. Pray for the frightened people and the opportunities to share the Gospel.

They are starting leadership training. Pray for Jon Boyd as he plans to teach a NT Survey course to students while he is in the area on furlough. Pray for John and Marissa Sharbaugh as they start deputation and the long road to full-time campus ministry. Pray for the students that need salvation. Many have large issues to deal with in their lives and education also.
Rhonda Green, RN, Micronesian Medical Missions, Baptist Mid-Missions, Guam Rhonda remains faithful in the bus ministry. She is also teaching emergency response and classes on managing PacificIsland diseases. Students will finish classes and head back to islands where there is no Bible believing church. Some will go back to help their pastor or missionary. Pray for them as they seek to follow God’s leading in their lives.
Paul and Joyce Oetken, CBM Home Office Paul and Joyce recently were in IA as Paul’s mother passed away suddenly. The Oetkens ask prayer for friends who attended the funeral and heard the Gospel.

Anna Beth Wivell with Baptist Mid-Missions, translator, now in Chad in Africa View her blog: www.annabethwiv.com She is currently on a break visiting her parents in Australia. This is a time to stock up on hard-to-get supplies and take care of regular physical check-ups. The Feb. translation workshop went well and finished ahead of schedule. The next work starts in May. Pray for translator, Job, as he and his family adjust to the loss of his wife and their mother. (She was in failing health for a considerable time.)

Pat and Wendy Campbell, Baptist Mid-Missions, Missionaries to Peru – They also got to present their burden at Missions’ Conference at FBBC. Pray Wendy’s knee pain will stay under control until her Oct. surgery. Pray for Javier from Peru. He is in the states taking a class at Faith and ministering in area Churches with Ken Loveall and Tim Whatley.
Wesley and Sonia Chatla – International Gospel Missions, National Pastor to India – Pray diligently that the bus will be procured by the time it is needed for the school – mid-June. Getting their children to the school is so important to folk in this area. Most are illiterate farm workers and so hopeful that the youth can get an education. The school gives them this and the truth of the Gospel. They are shown how to live for the Lord.

John and Bev Leonard, Baptist Mid-Missions, in Brazil – Check out: www.prayforjohn.com They have moved closer to the area of the Church. Progress continues on the construction of the auditorium. God encouraged them when Picolo, a quadriplegic, called to see if he could reconnect with the Leonards. They sense he is getting close to a salvation decision.
David and Patti West, Gospel Mission of S.A., anticipating “training nationals in Argentina and Chile They speak of the amount of faith it takes to do the pre-field ministry. Their hope of training nationals in S.A. makes it all worthwhile. They continue to present in the Midwest.

Pray for FBBC and Seminary students as they study this semester, Joe Hayes’ health issues and Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep., the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com , Shepherd’s Home, Alpha Women’s Center, our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org , IARBC statewide ministries, Baptist Children’s Home Ministries, and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh (need for short-term and career primary care doctors! And hospital addition underway NOW). Pray for the Jews. Pray for Israel! Pray for our Patch and Pee Wee Clubs and Compass (Closing program May 7th). Pray for our Ladies Bible Study and Men’s Prayer Breakfasts! Pray for all the ladies attending the Ladies’ Spring Banquet and the Women’s May Spring Outing. Don’t stop praying and reaching out to the lost with any opportunity God provides!
