Missions’ Prayer Sheet for January 2014
Take Time Today to Pray!
Prayer is Your Missionaries Greatest Need! January, 2014
Our retired missionaries
Virgil and Dolores Bunjer, retired from Germany and living in Ankeny, IA, helping minister to Senior missionaries for Baptist Mid-Missions. They are finally settling into their new location. The couple has decided they have collected too much “stuff.” Now they are trying to fit what is really necessary into their new area and remember where it all is! Good reports continue to come from the German churches. Keep praising God for the results of the many years of labor by the Bunjers and others!
Louis Miller, retired builder, living at Manning needs our prayers and encouragement. To contact him: c/o The Manning Plaza, 410 Main St. Manning, IA 51455, or e-mail plazaresident@mrhcia.com , and put in the subject line: Louis Miller.
Allen and Marilyn Adler, Native American ministry, Townsend, MT Praise the Lord that there have been wonderful results from the prison ministry, and opportunities there continue to open up! Marilyn has been cleared by the eye Dr. for the Adlers to go to Kenora in Canada from Feb. through Apr. 8. They will minister there during that time. (Most people head south in winter!)
Joan Nichols, living in Ankeny, formerly serving in Latin America. Sends greetings and good thoughts our way.
Wyzetta Titus, widow of Gerald Titus serving the homebound in her area of VA continues to minister.
The Dean Buttons, former Builders, now located at Marshalltown, IA faithfully serve in their Church, in pulpit supply ministry, and at the SeniorLivingCenter. They celebrated 66 years of marriage. God provided a car (Lexus ES 330) “too good for a missionary.” It has 77,000 less miles on it than their previous car had! Pray for their son-in-law who had a stroke in 2013 and has quite a ways yet on the road to recovery. They are praising God they can continue to live in their own home and garden.
Lois Wantoch serving in her Church in NE after years on the Amazon She continues to be very involved in the ministry of her local Church and in visits to the Rest Home. At ladies retreat she went down the zip line (celebrates each decade birthday by doing something special and was 4 years late celebrating 70 years!) and will do it again next chance she gets! She appreciates our prayers.
Bonnie Abbas, actively “retired” in Chile, S. A.

Ron and Kathleen Weber — reporting to their Churches and “retiring” after starting 11 Churches with ABWE in Brazil Their new assignment (to begin as soon as they finish reporting to their supporting churches: to speak at colleges to recruit new missionaries and to replace missionaries in any English or Portuguese speaking country during the missionary’s furlough.) Pray for James who recently visited Shepherd’s Home for a week. If this is to be where he will be moving to, there is the consideration of the Weber’s having to provide $2,000. a month for his living expenses.
