Take Time Today to Pray!

Prayer is Your Missionaries Greatest Need! August, 2013

Our Retired Missionaries – several of them still get some financial support from our Church

Virgil and Dolores Bunjer, Baptist Mid-Missions, now living at Ottumwa, IA, (former German Church Planters, now ministering to missionary retirees) Virgil says his reports are going to be less regular with the remodeling of the basement in Nancy and Charlie’s Ankeny house. Pray for strength for the labors! Good news from Germany . Record attendance at the LandshutChurch! The NurembergChurch celebrated 5 years with an overflow of attendance! Both Churches have had recent baptisms and a young person trusted Christ!

Louis  Miller, retired builder, living at Manning needs our prayers and encouragement. To contact him: c/o The Manning Plaza, 410 Main St.Manning, IA51455, or e-mail plazaresident@mrhcia.com , and put in the subject line: Louis Miller.

Allen and Marilyn Adler, Native American ministry, Townsend, MT Pray that the man who accepted Christ in Feb. and who was baptized in April will be back at Church. Prison ministry was halted during a shut down. The missionary family headed to Canada are at 50% support but need to reach 60% by Sept. to participate in Baptist Mid-Missions Candidate briefing. Otherwise, they must wait to attend next spring. Marilyn is recovering from a cornea transplant in her right eye. Pray that healing continues to go well.

Joan Nichols, living in Ankeny, formerly serving in Latin America She reports that the trip to Brazil went very well, and she arrived in a timely fashion to help daughter Debbie as she recuperated from two surgeries. Granddaughter, JoAnna arrived to be continued help as Grandma left. JoAnna now starts missionary ministry full-time alongside her parents. Joan reports that her Church has called Shon Lundberg to be full-time pastor. That is a praise to the congregation!

Darrel, Lori, Stephanie, and Stacy Jingst, EBI (Spanish Literature Publication) in Sebring, FL There are now two sons in the family to go with the two daughters! Weddings went off just fine. Pray for enough staff at the Print shop. The Burkholders want to join the staff as soon as their house sells. Some workers are traveling and much is being done in areas that those remaining are not familiar with the workings of that department. Expensive reprints are underway at present too.
