Virgil and Dolores Bunjer, Baptist Mid-Missions, now living at Ottumwa, IA, (former GermanChurch Planters, now ministering to missionary retirees) The Bunjers have decided to move to Ankeny to be nearer their children. Pray for the plans to move to an apartment setting and for wisdom and strength to get their Ottumwa house on the market for sale. Granddaughter Natalie is in Munich to work with the missionaries in Landshut for 6 weeks. Pray for this Faith student who is serving during her summer.

Joan Nichols, living in Ankeny, formerly serving in Latin America She reports that the trip to Brazil went very well, and she arrived in a timely fashion to help daughter Debbie as she recuperated from two surgeries. Granddaughter, JoAnna arrived to be continued help as Grandma left. JoAnna now starts missionary ministry full-time alongside her parents. Joan reports that her Church has called Shon Lundberg to be full-time pastor. That is a praise to the congregation!

The Smiths have reconnected with old friends and are building new friendships. Pray for Ryo Serikawa and Seiko. They are interested in spiritual things. Sue Hahn, the Smith’s co-worker is on furlough. The say: BEG God to bring more laborers to the field of Japan.

Brad and Marie Hansen and family, BaptistChurch Planters, Bussey, IA They had a very successful VBS with Michael and Candice Wessberg. Attendance doubled by week’s end. Pray for the follow-up. Brad was medic at CampManatoumi in IL the first week of the summer camp season.
Dennis and Peggy Robinson, CBM, Missionary Builders, Pray for their transition to CO as the WI project winds down. Ron and Kathleen Weber soon to be reporting to their Churches and the “retiring” after starting 11 Churches with ABWE in Brazil They have settled into their “Cedar Lane Missionary Home.” The phone number which you may use to contact them is 856-258-8871. A camping trip with the entire family has preceded Ron and Kathleen’s report to their Churches. (They head out July 21st and finish October 27th.) The newest church plant continues to go well with 10 people baptized on July 14th. Pray for granddaughter, Nicole, who is nervous about beginning her sophomore year of high school at CalvaryChristianAcademy here in the States. She still needs approximately $1500. to pay off her bill with the discount.
Ed and Cheryl Bunt, CBMChurch Planters, Danville, IA The DanvilleChurch has been welcomed into the fellowship of Regular Baptist Churches. Praise the Lord that Good News Club ended with attendance continuing to increase. Also this year’s VBS saw well over 60 enrolled. Update on Michael, the Bunts oldest grandson, leukemia survivor. His Dr. approved Michael’s mowing of the church lawn as long as he protects his breathing. He is to share his testimony at the Cancer Walk in Burlington, IA this Sept.
Pete and Darla Ringleberg, CBM Home Office – in MI are still battling health issues. (See their letter.) Their support is $1,000 a month short of the requirement, so they will be helping a church with a remodeling project as Pete continues to work remotely at the home office. He is also taking on the IT work for the CBM office. They need to schedule dates to report to their Churches. Pray for physical and spiritual strength.

Jonathan has begun to study French. He has a burden for his Muslim friends. This is their language. Pray for the Boyd boys. Some difficulties — probably as they sense the big change of furlough next year — makes them struggle more than does “just being boys.”

The term “clinics” will be turned to the “days God blesses.” Souls are accepting Christ and bodies are being helped to heal, but Satan seems to be working overtime. Their request: PRAY.

Some completion of Old Testament books in the local language is underway. It is very important to finish these translations so MANY people can be reached that have not had God’s Word in their tongue. Pray Anna Beth and her language teacher can meet more regularly. Sickness and family events have been obstacles hard to overcome.

Mark and Leslie Boyd and family, Missionaries to Germany – Mark and Leslie have a new co-worker who is settling in. Children’s Church is growing. Leslie is going to Ladies’ Prayer Meeting. This means learning to pray in a foreign language. Camp is the first week of August. Mark will teach and lead games and activities. Pray for Leslie’s pregnancy – half way +. Thank God that Natalie can continue in her current school. The location is ideal and change would be difficult.

See update.). Pray for camps this summer at IRBC. Pray for the Jews. Pray for Israel! Pray for our VBS to have a lasting impact. Pray for our Ladies Bible Study! Don’t stop praying!
